Why IRS collections stopped waiting on humans

The bottleneck that used to slow things down is gone — and why it matters if you've got an unresolved IRS balance.

The 4 paths inside “Fresh Start” and how to tell which one applies

Each one has its own formula and most people never learn which door applies to them.

The one thing about LLCs and corporations that catches business owners off guard

Your business structure protects a lot of things — but it doesn't always protect what you think it does.

Why your balance keeps growing even when nothing new happens

Interest and penalties don't wait for a new notice to show up — and what you can do about it.

The compliance step that has to happen before any resolution program applies

Skip this and it doesn't matter which program looks good on paper.

Why an IRS balance is usually a symptom and not the actual problem

Once you see it, the whole situation looks different.

And much, much more!

I’m Tracie Lowe, CPA

I graduated from the University of Florida with both a Bachelor's and a Master's in Accounting.

From there, I went straight into Deloitte, one of the Big 4 accounting firms in the world.

For 6 years, I sat across the table from Fortune 500 companies, building corporate tax strategies for names like Mercedes-Benz, Disney, MetLife, and Aetna.

Then I spent 20 years as the USA Division Corporate Controller for a global medical supply company that grossed over $400 million a year.

I even advised for TurboTax, where I watched thousands of taxpayers make the same costly mistakes over and over.

I've been licensed since 1999. I’m one of only three professions the federal government authorizes to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

But here's the part most people don't know…

A few years ago, the IRS came after me. I spent two years dealing with them directly and they even threatened my CPA license.

If they're willing to do this to a licensed CPA… what are they doing to someone who has no idea what their rights are?

This question changed the direction of my entire practice. Since then, I've represented individuals and business owners across all 50 states.

I built a system called the 7 Pillars of IRS Protection so people facing this situation could understand what their options are instead of guessing, panicking, or ignoring the mail.

IRS COLLECTION UPDATE

What's Happening With IRS
Collections Right Now

The IRS's 2026 collections season kicked off with a new wave of notices in early June — and the collection process is moving faster than many taxpayers expect.

01

Notices Are Moving Again

Automated notices that had been paused for years are back on and moving faster than before.

02

The Process Got Automated

The bottleneck that once slowed enforcement down is disappearing as more of the process becomes automated.

03

$77.6 Billion Collected

In fiscal year 2024, the IRS collection function brought in nearly $77.6 billion, up more than 13% from the year before.

04

5.3 Million Delinquent Accounts

More than 5.3 million delinquent accounts moved through the collection system.

The IRS process got automated.

For years, enforcement was slowed down because there weren't enough people to chase every account. That bottleneck used to create delays throughout the collection process.

Now, more of that process is automated. Notices can move forward with less reliance on individual employees manually pushing each account through the system.

The bottleneck that used to slow enforcement down is gone.

Automated notices that had been paused for years are back on and moving faster than before.

The National Taxpayer Advocate has also indicated that taxpayers should expect more consistent enforcement going forward.

This doesn't mean your situation can't be resolved.

It means the sooner you understand your options, the more of them are usually still on the table.

Understanding where you stand early can help you make informed decisions before the collection process moves further along.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your Next Step Toward IRS Protection

Get answers about the 911IRSHelp.com IRS Case Review, what’s included, pricing, and what happens next.

What is the 911IRSHelp.com IRS Case Review?

The 911IRSHelp.com IRS Case Review is a professional evaluation designed for individuals and business owners who want to understand their IRS situation and identify a path forward.

This is not another webinar filled with general information.

This is where we move beyond learning about the 7 Pillars of IRS Protection and begin examining how those principles may apply to YOUR situation.

The review is conducted under the direction of Tracie Lowe, CPA, an experienced tax professional and Tax Resolution Specialist who has spent over 30 years working in accounting, finance, and tax matters directly with the IRS.

You are not paying for another presentation. You are investing in confidential, personal, professional analysis of your IRS situation.

Who qualifies for the IRS Case Review?

Our program is designed primarily for individuals and business owners who owe the IRS $5,000 or more and are serious about understanding their resolution options.

We work with taxpayers facing different situations, including unpaid balances, unfiled returns, payment agreements, liens, levies, and IRS collection activity.

Not every taxpayer will qualify for every IRS program.

That is exactly why the review matters.

Is this the same thing as the free 7 Pillars of IRS Protection webinar?

No.

The free webinar teaches you the framework behind IRS protection.

The IRS Case Review is where we begin applying that knowledge to your circumstances.

During the webinar, you learned about identifying the real problem, understanding the IRS system, knowing your options, protecting what you have built, creating a plan, building long-term financial stability, and ongoing protection.

Now comes the next question.

How does that framework apply to YOU?

That is what your Case Review is designed to help you determine.

Will I work directly with Tracie Lowe, CPA?

The IRS Case Review is offered through Tracie Lowe, CPA and OnPoint Tax Relief, Inc.

Unlike programs where you purchase access to a collection of prerecorded videos, this is a professional service designed to evaluate your actual tax circumstances.

Your review is overseen by Tracie Lowe, CPA, an experienced, educated, Board Certified CPA, not a motivational speaker or tax preparer teaching theories about the IRS.

What makes Tracie Lowe, CPA qualified to help me?

Tracie Lowe, CPA brings more than 30 years of accounting and financial experience, including executive-level financial leadership and IRS representation.

She has worked with over 1,000 individuals and businesses facing complicated financial and tax situations.

Her experience includes resolving IRS collection matters, analyzing tax accounts, addressing penalties, and representing taxpayers in IRS proceedings.

You are not hiring someone who simply learned how to market tax relief.

You are seeking guidance from a professional who understands financial systems, tax matters, and IRS procedures.

What exactly will you review in my IRS case?

Your Case Review is intended to examine important elements of your tax situation, which may include:

  • IRS balances and tax years involved
  • Notices and collection deadlines
  • Filing compliance and missing returns
  • Applicable collection limitations
  • Penalties and interest
  • Existing payment arrangements
  • Potential IRS resolution programs
  • Financial hardship considerations
  • Possible disputes or account corrections
  • Recommended next steps

We want to understand the problem before recommending a solution or providing a tax resolution quote. We do not charge for a “what if” scenario. We excel in quoting for the actual service needed to perform the resolution option you will qualify for once completed.

Note: The Case Review does not include the services, forms, IRS correspondence, or communication required to complete the tax resolution option. It is an estimated 2–3 hour processing review of your options.

Will you tell me exactly how much the IRS will settle for?

Not before we evaluate your financial circumstances and applicable IRS requirements.

Anyone who promises you a particular settlement amount without properly reviewing your situation is making a promise they may not be able to deliver.

Some taxpayers qualify for settlements. Others qualify for payment arrangements, hardship relief, penalty relief, or other alternatives.

The goal is to identify options that actually apply to your circumstances. But remember, the IRS has the ultimate decision. We present the case, facts, and applicable code sections to support our position for tax resolution.

Can you really help someone who owes $50,000, $100,000, or more?

Yes.

We have experience reviewing and representing taxpayers with significant IRS balances.

However, a larger balance does not automatically mean you qualify for a reduction.

Your income, assets, expenses, filing history, and other circumstances can all influence the options available.

That is why we start with the facts instead of making promises.

How much is the IRS Case Review?

The regular investment for an individual IRS Case Review without the webinar code is $2,500.

We deliberately chose to offer a professional review rather than a low-cost, one-size-fits-all tax relief product.

Why?

Because your IRS situation is not identical to the next person’s.

A solution that works for someone owing $15,000 and earning $60,000 might not be appropriate for someone owing $150,000 and earning $40,000.

We believe the first step should be a proper evaluation, not a generic recommendation.

You can search online for free IRS information or contact the IRS directly. Keep in mind that the agent on the other side of the phone is there to collect a balance due, not there to help reduce it.

Or you can invest in having an experienced CPA examine the facts of your situation who becomes your protector and someone who is solely on your side and for your benefit.

The decision is yours.

Why does the IRS Case Review cost $2,500?

When designing our Case Review process, we had two choices.

The first was to offer inexpensive, high-volume consultations where taxpayers receive general information and a quick sales pitch.

The second was to focus on a more thorough professional evaluation designed to provide meaningful direction.

The CPA must coordinate the appropriate paperwork, use our tools for reviewing your options, and spend time personally reviewing the options with you in confidence.

We chose the second option.

Tax matters can involve years of filings, penalties, interest, deadlines, collection procedures, and financial consequences.

We believe understanding those issues deserves more than a few generic answers.

You are investing in professional time, experience, and analysis.

What is the $1,200 Fast Action Bonus?

During selected live webinars, we make a special offer available to the first five eligible participants.

Instead of paying the regular $2,500 Case Review fee without a coupon code, eligible participants may purchase the review for a one-time payment of $1,200.

That represents a savings of $1,300 from the regular $2,500 fee.

We limit these promotional spots because we want to maintain the resources available for the review process.

Once the five promotional spots are filled or the offer period ends, regular pricing applies.

Can I make payments instead of paying the full amount today?

Yes.

Our regular payment options are:

  • Option 1: One Payment — $1,800
  • Option 2: Two Payments — $950 Today and $950 in 30 Days

The two-payment option totals $1,900.

The $1,200 Fast Action Bonus, when offered, requires one payment.

Select the option that best fits your circumstances.

What happens immediately after I purchase?

After completing your purchase, you will receive instructions for beginning onboarding for the IRS Case Review process, including access to our secure and encrypted portal for uploading, downloading, and directly communicating with the CPA.

You will be informed about the information and documentation needed to assess your situation.

Depending on your circumstances, this may include IRS notices, account information, tax returns, and other relevant financial documents.

The objective is to gather the facts necessary to make an informed professional assessment.

What if I already have an IRS payment plan?

That does not necessarily mean your IRS situation has been fully evaluated.

A payment agreement may be appropriate for some taxpayers, but other alternatives may exist depending on their circumstances.

We often find that the Installment Agreement can be entered into for a $0 monthly payment. Yes, $0 is a monthly payment option when you qualify. Therefore, we can examine whether your existing arrangement is consistent with your situation and whether there are other options worth considering.

Having a payment plan and having a long-term strategy are not always the same thing.

What if I have not filed my taxes in several years?

You are not the only person facing this situation.

Unfiled tax returns can complicate IRS resolution, but they do not mean you should give up.

In many circumstances, filing compliance—having all due tax returns filed—is necessary before certain IRS resolution programs are available.

We can help identify the filing issues that need to be addressed and explain how they affect your options.

What if the IRS is threatening to garnish my wages or levy my bank account?

If you are facing active collection enforcement, your situation may require immediate attention.

The IRS has specific procedures and deadlines that can affect your rights and available remedies.

Some taxpayers may qualify for collection relief. However, purchasing a Case Review does not suspend IRS action. We can provide protection when an onboarding Case Review happens. The agreement for immediate protection can be established through a direct call.

If you have an imminent levy or other collection deadline, contact our office directly rather than relying solely on the normal online order process.

What if I own a business and owe payroll or business taxes?

Business tax matters often involve additional complexities.

Payroll tax liabilities, employment tax deposits, business compliance, and potential personal responsibility for certain taxes can require specialized review.

Our experience in both business finance and tax matters provides a foundation for evaluating these situations.

Business matters may require a separately scoped engagement and fee.

Can I have my spouse or business partner involved in the review?

Yes, when appropriate.

Spouses, business partners, and other individuals may have information relevant to the situation.

However, participation and access to confidential tax information depend on proper authorization and the individuals involved in the engagement.

If multiple taxpayers or separate entities require individual reviews, additional fees may apply.

Can I hire you to handle my entire IRS case after the review?

Yes.

The Case Review is the first phase, not the final solution.

If we determine that additional professional representation and/or IRS protection would be appropriate and we agree to accept your case, we can discuss the scope and investment required.

These services may include IRS negotiations, installment agreements, Offers in Compromise, penalty relief, collection alternatives, or other authorized representation.

Any additional services and fees will be addressed through a separate agreement.

Can I do all of this myself for free?

Absolutely.

You have the right to contact the IRS, review your tax information, research available programs, and represent yourself.

The IRS also provides free information about many of its procedures.

But there is a difference between having access to information and understanding how that information applies to your situation.

The question is not whether you CAN do it yourself.

The question is whether you want to continue figuring it out alone or invest in professional guidance.

What if I have already hired another tax relief company?

You may still benefit from an independent review.

We can evaluate your available information and identify issues that may warrant further attention.

However, we cannot guarantee that a different strategy will be available or that the conclusions of another professional were incorrect.

Our objective is to assess your situation based on the facts and applicable tax rules.

Do you guarantee that my IRS balance will be reduced or eliminated?

No.

We do not sell guarantees.

We provide professional analysis and recommendations based on the information available and the applicable IRS rules.

The IRS determines eligibility for its programs, and every taxpayer’s circumstances are different.

Our commitment is to give your situation serious professional attention and not to make promises that no one can ethically guarantee.

How long will it take to get my IRS problem resolved?

There is no single timeline that applies to everyone.

Some issues can be addressed relatively quickly within 30 days, while others may take months or longer. Often, the longer it takes, the better the outcome we can work toward.

The nature of the tax problem, IRS workload, required documentation, compliance status, and resolution program can all influence the timeline.

The Case Review is intended to help identify your possible next steps, and it does not guarantee completion of IRS resolution within 30 days.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Your purchase is for a professional Case Review service. Once a deposit is made and we begin completing our onboarding services, we have invested our time and energy in providing your services. As such, there is a no-refund policy for the deposited amount.

The applicable cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms will be provided in the written purchase and engagement terms before you complete your order.

Please review those terms carefully.

If you have questions about the scope of the service or your purchase, contact our office before submitting payment.

Why should I take action now instead of waiting?

You have two choices.

Choice #1: Continue Doing What You Have Been Doing.

You can keep searching online. Keep reading IRS letters. Keep wondering whether your payment plan is the right one. Keep trying to understand a tax system that can be confusing even for experienced professionals.

Or…

Choice #2: Start Building a Plan.

You can invest in having your IRS situation professionally evaluated. You can begin identifying your available options. You can stop relying entirely on guesswork and start making decisions based on a clearer understanding of your circumstances.

We cannot promise the IRS will eliminate your balance. We cannot promise every taxpayer will qualify for relief. But we can help you understand the issues and potential options.

You attended the 7 Pillars of IRS Protection webinar because you wanted answers.

Now you have the opportunity to take the next step.

Stop Guessing. Start Understanding. Get PROTECTED.

IRS resolution outcomes depend on individual circumstances, eligibility requirements, and IRS review. The Case Review does not itself establish an IRS representation engagement or guarantee collection relief.
